"terrible website creation tool"
this is the worst website creation tool ever. zero help for 50 bucks a month, and you can't even customize the system pages how you like, translate, or do anything... forget WILD APRICOT!

"Outdated and Awkward Website Builder"
I can't recommend WildApricot at all, and here's why: 1. It's a totally outdated site builder. 2. A lot of their 'gadgets' and 'system templates' seem like they belong in the 1980s. 3. Many features they claim work, well, they really don’t. 4. Some of my CSS worked, while others didn’t; it’s a real guessing game to figure out what actually functions. I’ve honestly wasted days trying to get things to work. So frustrating! 5. There’s no backup option. 6. Security is lacking, with no way to block IP addresses, which is pretty crucial in 2022. 7. The website 'themes' are all poorly designed unless you want to spend hours tweaking them. 8. No FTP access; their alternative just doesn’t cut it. 9. No Contact Form, which left me completely shocked. Seriously, who doesn’t have one of those?! I could keep going, but honestly, I’d just suggest going with WordPress and using a membership plugin based on your organization’s size.

"Out of Date Clunky Web Builder"
I wouldn't recommend WildApricot at all, for the following reasons:
1. It is a completely out-of-date website builder.
2. Many of their "gadgets" and "system templates" look like something from the 1980s.
3. Many of the features they say work, actually really don't.
4. Some of my own CSS worked, some didn't, it's trial and error to know what actually does, I've literally wasted days trying to make things work. So depressing.
5. There is no backing up.
6. Security is poor, with no blocking of IP addresses which is important in 2022.
7. There are website "themes" all of them are just terribly designed unless you spend hours trying to modify them.
8. No FTP, their alternative is not really acceptable.
9. No Contact Form, for which I was totally gob-smacked about. Who on earth doesn't have one of these?!
I could go on but, personally, I would just get WordPress and use a membership plugin depending on the size of your organization.

"AVOID WILD APRICOT AT ALL COSTS"
STAY AWAY FROM WILD APRICOT. Every time I reach out for help with my account, it takes more than 5 business days to get a reply, if I even get one. The online guides are impossible to read. I've been a customer of Wild Apricot for around 7 years now. They've completely eliminated phone support, which is quite something considering they keep hiking up their prices. I've reached out to support, accounting, and even a key executive on LinkedIn about my financial update issue, and I’ve heard NOTHING back. Do yourself and your organization a favor - choose a different vendor, AVOID Wild Apricot.

"DO NOT USE WILD APRICOT"
DO NOT USE WILD APRICOT. Every request for support for my account takes way over 5 business days for a response, if it's answered at all. On-line documentation is unreadable. I've been with Wild Apricot for about 7 years. Phone support to totally gone, which is interesting as they keep raising prices. I've pinged support, accounting and then a key executive on LinkedIn for my financial update issue and NOTHING. Save yourself and your association the time and agony - go with any other vendor, DO NOT USE Wild Apricot.

"Hard to Customize and Quite Restrictive"
Hard to Customize and Quite Restrictive. I've been using Wild Apricot for a couple of years, but honestly, it wasn't my decision. It's for a client who prefers this platform. Having worked with WordPress for more than a decade, I find WA super annoying to navigate. There are barely any theme choices, and it lacks essential features (like a contact form widget, for example!). It's really clunky. Seriously, steer clear of this one.

"Restrictive and difficult to customise"
Restrictive and difficult to customise. I've used Wild Apricot for a few years but NOT by choice. It's for a client who uses this platform. Coming from the WordPress background (which I have worked in for over 10 years), I find WA so incredibly frustrating to use. It's got very few theme options, hardly any features (i.e. no contact form widget for starters!) It's so clunky. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

"Issues with Customer Support!"
I've been a customer of Apricot for quite a while, and their support used to be top-notch, but that's not the case anymore. I put in an urgent support request four days ago, and still, I've heard nothing back. They've been changing their interface and updating their system a lot, and every time they do, it seems like a new problem pops up for my non-profit organization. Apricot, you really need to fix this issue!

"Support Problems!"
I've been with Apricot for years and their once superb support is gone. I submitted a support request that was urgent and it has been 4 days and no response. They have changed their interface and updated their system frequently and with each update comes a new issue with how system has worked for my non-profit group. Apricot, please address this shortcoming! PBGV Club of America
